On 18 September 2026, the Pension Fund of Ukraine reminded that pensioners and insurance benefit recipients temporarily staying abroad or in temporarily occupied territories must complete physical identification every year by 31 December.
What you need to know:
• the Pension Fund has already sent notices to personal accounts on its web portal (“My notifications” → “Individual notifications”) and in its mobile app;
• the obligation is based on Article 47-1 of Law No. 1058-IV and Cabinet of Ministers Resolution No. 299 of 11.02.2025;
• according to expert explanations, it applies to those abroad for more than 183 days a year or holding temporary protection or refugee status.
